Our first day of practice starts tomorrow.  Swimmers need goggles and girls a 1 piece suit.  Non swimmers will start with fins for the first couple of weeks.  They will be in baskets on the pool deck and have the shoe size listed on the bottom. The first few weeks in the pool the water is chilly, if staying for more than 1 practice I would recommend a change of clothes. 

Pool rules  No swimmers on the pool deck unless its their practice time.  Please use the chairs or pavilion area to wait for your practice time.  No horse play around or in the pool. Don't enter the water until instructed by a coach. We strive to make all weather cancelations by 2 pm (email/facebook) but weather can change quickly.  We will swim if just sprinkling, thunder/lightening will close the pool for 20 minutes.  

Our team suits the Dolfin color block can be purchased at Swim Shops- 5010 Louetta Spring, TX 77379, 281-376-4460 (closed Sunday and Monday).  Team suit is not a requirement. 

Volunteer deposits of $100 are due this week, see any board member to drop off cash or check.  Swim meets relay heavily on parent volunteers and to receive your volunteer deposit back at the end of the season you work 8 shifts (each meet has 2 shifts and set up/ take down of home meets).  We will go over and get to practice the volunteer positions at our time trial meet on 5/6.
