Our End of Year DIVISIONAL MEET
is this SATURDAY for all swimmers!

Coaches Note: This week is our last swim meet of the season and it is over divisional meet, where all 4 teams in our division meet for an end of season meet.  It will be longer than normal because we have the swimmers of all four teams participating, so please plan accordingly.  The meet is located at the Birnamwoods pool.  The swimmers need to be at the pool and checked in no later than 7:10. Swimmers need to come and check in with a coach as soon as they arrive at the pool.  Please let Coach Christine or Coach Monica know by Wednesday if you are unable to attend the meet as meet entries are due at the end of the day Wednesday.  We are looking forward to our last week of regular practice.

Meet Location: The pool is located at 23803 Birnam Wood Blvd, Spring, TX 77373.  The parking lot at the pool will only be available to officials/team reps/ and coaches with a parking pass.  If a handicap parking spot is needed, please let Chad know by Thursday!  All other parking is along the streets, please be mindful of residents and ensure that you are legally parked in order to prevent towing or a ticket.  This is actively enforced.

Meet Setup: Please only set-up in the area designated for our team.  There are 4 teams at this meet and we all have designated areas, please respect this rule!

Our Website: Please take a moment to visit our website.  The web address is timberlanetigersharks.swim-team.us.  Your username is the email address you used when you registered.  The password is “welcome” unless you personalized your own password.  If you have any problems logging on please email [email protected].  You can use this website to view the upcoming schedule, find news and handouts, as well as sign up for all your volunteer shifts.

Volunteer Requirements: This is the last chance to get your volunteer shifts in before the end of the season!  Please do not make us hunt you down, volunteers are critical to running a meet.  You are required to work each meet or your volunteer check will be deposited.  Go online to sign up to work the meet so that you get your preferred position!   We need all the volunteers we can get!  Please remember that the meet cannot operate without volunteers and will come to a halt until all volunteer positions are filled if necessary. WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR THE MEET THIS WEEKEND!!

End of Season Party: A separate email will come for the end of the year party, but please mark it on your calendar. The Team Party will be Monday, June 26th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Swimming will be from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.  This party if for swimmers and parents, extended family and friends are not allowed!  Please RSVP online or via email by Wednesday June 21st.  Pool clean‐up and off‐season preparations will be from 9:00pm – 10:00pm.

Invitational Meets: Invitationals are fast approaching.  Our team will participate in both the Trinity and Ponderosa Invitational Meets to be held the weekend of June 24th and 25th.  Swimmers must meet cut-off times in order to participate in these meets.  Emails went out today for all those that have qualified.  Your swimmer may qualify at divisionals this weekend, and if they do please get with coach before leaving the meet to RSVP for divisionals as the meet entries are due Sunday.  I have attached Trinity qualifying times.  Practice next week will only be for those participating in invitationals.
