Tiger Sharks,

I'd like to first say I hope everyone is having a fantastic start to this new school year. 

Coming up on Monday, September 5th is the 14th Annual HEB Labor Day Parade.  In May we had such a great turn out during the Memorial Day Parade, that we would like to do it again.  We are asking that you show your support for Timber Lane Utility District, HEB, Timber Lane Civic Association and Hays Utility South by coming and joining us in the parade. 

Just like in May we would like to decorate a trailer and fill it full of swimmers.  We are asking that you meet us at Hirsch Elementary on Sunday, September 4th at 6:00 pm to start decorating the trailer.  You are welcome and encouraged to bring whatever decorating supplies that you have to help out, posters, streamers, ballons...whatever; we will make a plan when we see what we have.  

If you were in the parade in May, then you remember it was HOT, and that was May.  We want to make sure all of our little swimmers stay hydrated so we are asking for some donations of Water and/or Gatorades.  We will supply the cooler and ice, we just need the drinks.  We want to be able to pass them out the children if needed during the parade.  Since it does get hot, we suggest that whoever participates please dress for the heat to keep cooled off as best as possible.

We will meet for the parade on Monday, September 5th at 9 AM at Hirsch Elementary.  We are also accepting donations of items to throw during the parade, feel free to bring a bag of candy.  As a quick recap:

Decorate the Trailer:          Sunday, Sept. 4th @ 6:00 PM @ Hirsch (bring any donations of decor or drinks)
Gather for the Parade:       Monday, Sept. 5th @ 9:00 AM @ Hirsch (bring any donations of drinks or candy)
Parade Starts:                  @ 10:00 AM
