Tiger Sharks,

Congratulations on a successful swim meet.  Saturday was not only our first meet of the season but also our first win.  Our final score against Foxwood was: TTS (Timber Lane Tiger Sharks) 654 to FXWD 470.  Way to go swimmers, lets keep it going.

Coming Up This Week

This weekend, May 21st we DO NOT HAVE A SWIM MEET.  Our next meet is scheduled for Saturday, May 28th.  

Even though we do not have a meet this weekend, does not mean that you cannnot sign up for the next meets volunteer duties.  The need for VOLUNETEERS is very important, as most of you saw during our first meet.  Without volunteers we cannot run the meet.  This is why we ask you to pay the $100 volunteer deposit.  Though your children come to practice and swim you are required to help them shine by helping run the swim meet.  We require volunteers from both our team and the opposing team.  The volunteer coordinator will walk around during practices to get you to sign up.  If you would like to see what is available before, I come around then you can visit the link below to sign up.  REMEMBER: The next volunteer day is Saturday, May 28th.

PICTURE DAY is coming up on MONDAY, MAY 23rd.  Team and Individual Pictures start at 5:00 PM.  The team picture will start at 6:00 PM.  Please make sure your swimmers wear either their swim suits or team shirt, if we have them  If you do not wish to have an individual picture taken, then you do not have to be there until 6:00 PM.  Team pictures will be taken between 6:00 and 6:30.  Please remember do not park in front of or beside the tennis court.  We do not want your cars in the picture.  I will do my best to arrange some trash cans in the street to help you remember to not park there.  Of course I will have to move them for the picture, we don't want trash cans in the picture either.  Also, be sure not to leave your bikes in those areas as well.  I will have picture forms during practice if you lose it the photographers will bring more with them when they come.  We hope to get the whole team there. 

Other News

On Thursday, May 19th, the Mobile Vet will be in our clubhouse parking lot.  Please do not park in the parking lot.

If you were not able to get to Las Ramadas Monday night then please see me during practice and I will give you your ribbons from the last swim meet, if your swimmer placed at least up to 6th place.  Practices continues at the same time and same place as the weeks before.  As usual, should you have any questions or concerns please email or text me.
