Divisional Meet Infromation
Tigersharks,
We have only one last swim meet till the end of the season. This will be our longest and toughest swim meet. We will be competing against the other 5 teams all at once. There will be 504 swimmers and their families. Attached you will find a rough map of where we will set up as a team.
As a general reminder, please be aware of where you are parking. If you are blocking a trash can too much the homeowner will not have their trash picked up and they will be angry. If you block a mailbox the homeowner will not get their mail. If you block a driveway, your car will be towed. If you park in front of a fire hydrant, your car will be towed. If you park to close to a stop sign you could be ticketed or towed. Please make sure you do not leave any trash on the street. DO NOT PARK IN THE FRONT OF THE CLUBHOUSE. The area in front of the clubhouse is reserved parking for some of the officials. You must have a parking pass to park in that area. There will be an area where you can unload your vehicle, but please do not park there to long so that others can use that space as well.
Remember the meet will be held at Inverness Forest, where our first meet was held. Take the first right at the light once you pass over Hardy on 1960 towards I-45. Good luck parking-hunting. Don't forget the things you need to get through the day: food, water, money for concessions, sunscreen, bug spray, chairs, towels, toys, books, canopy...
Last of all I'd like to wish each and every one of our swimmers GOOD LUCK and FAST SWIMMING. Don't forget to see me or whoever is at the CHECK IN are when you arrive. As usual, should you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Thanks,
Sabrina Michalsky
