Tigersharks,

What a weekend we just had.  First I would like to say I hope everyone has staid safe out there.  Second, don't forget about our make-up meet tomorrow!  Please remember that we will be finishing our swim meet against Foxwood tomorrow evening, Wednesday, May 27th at 5:30 PM.  We will start at event 49 and try to make it to the end at event 78.  Pleas be sure to sign your swimmer in, so that we know who is there and who is not.  We understand that some of you will not be able to make it due to school activities, we just ask that those who can be there, be there.  We need our volunteers back to continue timing and helping at ready bench.

Coming Up This Week

The Coca Cola orders have been put in but they are not able to deliver today as we had thought.  They will be delivered Thursday, May 28th.  Please be sure to pick up your order when you come to practice.

Our next swim meet is this Saturday, May 30th again Livingston, in Livingston, Texas.  Some of you have signed up for a hotel room at the Holiday Inn.  Check in is on Friday, May 29th at 3:00 PM and check out is Saturday, May 30th at Noon.  Just like any other swim meet we have had, whether you are in the hotel or driving their in the morning, check in is at 7:00 AM.  Livingston runs slightly different than the other swim meets, they use an community pool and HAVE TO BE OUT and broken down by Noon. The pool opens to the public at noon, so the meet will go fast.  If your swimmers are not paying attention they will miss ready bench and their event.

Just like all our other meets bring your canopy  and chairs and drinks and so on.  It is a public park as there will be parking.  We have an area where we set up, but it has been years since we've been there and I can't remember where to tell you to set up.

Other News

Ribbons Ceremony will be held Sunday, May 31st at Las Ramadas at 6:00 PM.  We will hand out the ribbons from Foxwood as well as Livingston.  As I've stated before, you do not have to purchase anything to attend the ribbon ceremony.  It is also not required, the swimmers like the recognition.

Team and Individual Pictures are on Monday, June 1st at 5:00 PM.  If you do not wish to have an individual picture taken, then you do not have to be there until 6:00 PM.  Team pictures will be taken between 6:00 and 6:30.  Please remember do not park in front of or beside the tennis court.  We do not want your cars in the picture.  I will do my best to arrange some trash cans in the street to help you remember to not park there.  Of course I will have to move them for the picture, we don't want trash cans in the picture either.  Also, be sure not to leave your bikes in those areas as well.  If you need a new form I still have some, otherwise the photographers will bring more with them when they come.  I hope to get the whole team there.
